Kirtley called up for A tour

James Kirtley: Leading Sussex wicket-taker last season

Sussex pace bowler James Kirtley has been called into the England A winter tour party for the trip to Bangladesh and New Zealand.

He replaces Steve Harmison of Durham, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Kirtley, 24, was his county's leading wicket taker last year with 65 victims at an average of 23.13.

Mark Alleyne is leading the tour party, which heads first to Bangladesh, and then to New Zealand.

Alleyne will then join the full England one-day party in South Africa.
