Cameron: 'This is much more than what could have been'

David Cameron and Nick Clegg have faced questions about their new relationship as Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.

When asked by the BBC's Nick Robinson if the country was "permanently under joint leadership'", Mr Cameron said that "this is much more than what could have been... We are two teams trying to form one strong team".

However, upon questioning about PMQs , Mr Cameron said they would be quite a "different beast" with Mr Clegg answering questions on behalf of the Prime Minister when he was away, prompting Mr Cameron to say he was "looking forward to foreign travel".

On the question of where Mr Clegg would be based as Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Cameron said that they would not have to "book meetings" with each other. Mr Clegg said "there's a corridor that links Number 10 to where I am, but I've no idea where I am... It's a rabbit warren in there."
