More than 2,000 people from the town, mostly women and children, arrived in northern Albania in the biggest influx in more than a week.

The UNHCR says the 50-80,000 refugees in the overcrowded camps in northern Albania are in grave danger from Serb snipers and artillery just the other side of the border.
The Serbs have fired Russian-made rockets over the border aiming at the KLA camps a number of times, it is reported. The rockets have a range of more than 50km, and would easily be able to hit a refugee camp.
The UNHCR says it will continue to move refugees out of harm's way to the Albanian capital Tirana, or to the Adriatic coast.
