Homelands 27 May: England 3 June: Scotland The UK's first major festival of 2000 is the Homelands England dance event at Mattersley Estate, near Winchester, followed by its Scottish sister at Staid Farm, Dalleagles, New Cumnock. Organisers promise "the most ambitious and biggest dance festivals", with the English event expected to attract 40,000 people at 11 arenas, and 20,000 over five arenas in Scotland.
