The Race |
|
On 10 September, the 12 yachts taking part in this year's BT Global Challenge will set sail. All are crewed by ordinary people who have taken time out from their jobs to compete in, what organisers call, “the world's toughest yacht race”. Sir Chay Blyth, who became the first person to sail this route solo in 1971, tells BBC News Online what crew members can expect on each leg of the of the race.
